We would REALLY APPRECIATE if you could take the time to complete the survey so that we'll get some "votes", as we want to show the world that Scrimba is a growing and vibrant community for people who love JavaScript π
β¨ PS: if you send a screenshot of your submitted survey using this form, we will send you a free 1-month coupon for Scrimba Pro! π

Emre has gotten hired as a frontend dev at an international company. He studied with Scrimba through the summer, and started applying for jobs in Septemberβ¦and it took him 2 months to get hired!
He says "I have always looked in this section to find motivation, and look at others who managed to change their life. So I hope my accomplishment will also motivate others!"

Meet Caitlyn Greffly πΊπΈ! Sheβs a career changer, developer career mentor, and the author of The Bootcamperβs Companion, a book of tips she wishes she had known when she was breaking into tech. In her past life, she was a psychologist working in beer. After changing careers at 31, Caitlyn is nowadays a full-stack software engineer with a passion for frontend.
In her book, Caitlyn shares resources, advice, and approaches to help you stand out and find a job. In this interview, she does the same! Youβll hear how she decided to become a developer and chose a path to get there. Youβll learn why you shouldnβt be intimidated by your more experienced colleagues, and why struggling is essential. Caitlyn and Alex also discuss how employers can help juniors grow and how new developers can figure out if an employer is right for them.
Yesterday, Leanne and Michael learned all about CSS animations by coding an animated typewriter effect! β¨οΈ
They looked at:
π₯ Transitions
π₯ Timing
π₯ Transition and animation shorthand
